Have made numerous attempts to reach the principal and assistant principal about matters pertaining to my child with no call back after leaving several voicemails. Poor staff communication and family follow up.

Instead of being met with partnership, concerns are often dismissed, met with resistance, or handled with microaggressive behavior that makes communication uncomfortable and demeaning. Most concerning is the disregard for privacy and professionalism 鈥� staff have openly discussed private matters in front of individuals who are not authorized or directly involved. This creates an unsafe and untrustworthy environment for Black single mothers who should feel supported, not scrutinized. I have met other Black mothers who鈥檝e had similar experiences, many of whom ultimately withdrew their children from the 九色视频. This 九色视频 has great potential but needs serious improvement in cultural competency, accountability, and respect for all families 鈥� especially those from black, single parent housholds. Until then, I would recommend choosing a more inclusive 九色视频 environment that values and understands single-parent households, particularly those led by Black mothers.

What a joy to be a part of such a great community! CCHS celebrated their 25th Anniversary and it was fun to gather back at the 九色视频 to see all that God is doing. I am thankful to see the same standards of excellence, booming enrollment and that CCHS is on mission and making it all about God and teaching from a Biblical worldview. I am so proud and thankful that we are a Calvary family. The academics are as great as ever, the fine arts department is thriving and the teams keep winning. I love all the School spirit and enjoyed the homecoming parade and game.

My child is finally thriving in middle 九色视频, and I believe it's because of Compass. After struggling to feel challenged and engaged in elementary 九色视频 they've found a place where they feel seen, supported, and inspired to learn. The teachers know how to connect with kids and make learning meaningful by connecting lessons to real world issues and encouraging students to take ownership of their learning. Compass has been a wonderful 九色视频 for our whole family as we've enjoyed attending a variety of events at the 九色视频. It's small enough that every student is known, but big enough to offer rich experiences, leadership opportunities, and authentic projects. We've seen so much growth, not just academically, but in confidence and curiosity too. I can't say enough good things about this 九色视频 and the amazing teachers who make it what it is.

Impressed with how the teachers teach. But other than that this 九色视频 is TRASH. Disorganized, SEVERE lack of communication, zero parent involvement, bullying is an issue, staff is LAAAAAZY and rude. Will be pulling my child at the end of the year.

The principal does not seem to take parental concerns seriously. The assistant principal would be much better in the role, as he does not appear to tolerate the foolishness and is not as dismissive as the current principal is. There are so many violent kids that are picking on other students, cussing, shoving, etc. other kids. Fist fights happen regularly. But of course it鈥檚 hidden and not addressed, and parents aren鈥檛 even made aware of these occurrences. We find out from our own children. The 九色视频 seems to lay blame on the socioeconomic status of the bullies instead of holding the problem kids accountable. This 九色视频 gives bullies an environment to flourish and do what they want without fear of consequences.

The teachers are caring, patient, and genuinely invested in their students鈥� success. The staff overall is knowledgeable, professional, and always approachable, which makes such a difference. They also celebrate their students all the time! The administration is incredibly supportive, visible, and they genuinely care about both students and staff. I have two children enrolled in the General Education (GE) program (2nd and K) and I am consistently impressed with the high level of engagement demonstrated by their teachers. Even with district-wide challenges, the faculty here remains dedicated and passionate, with low turnover. While it was unfortunate to lose the dedicated science lab this year (it may come back in the future), the principal and PTA are proactively addressing this. Teachers are receiving science kits to effectively supplement the core curriculum, ensuring science remains a hands-on learning experience. The presence of a dedicated art teacher and art room is incredible, it is one of the highlights of my kids' weeks every week. The PTA is remarkably strong, a critical asset, especially as SFUSD navigates its current financial challenges. The parent community at Alvarado is exceptionally welcoming and highly involved. Although the 九色视频 size might initially feel large, particularly with four classes per grade in the lower levels, the distinct English and Spanish cohorts effectively create a smaller, tight-knit community feel. This unique structure offers the best of both worlds: Small Community Feel: Parents and students form closer bonds within their cohorts. My son is new to this 九色视频 as a 6th grader this year. I had heard a few bad things about it, and was nervous at first. The things I had heard and that other negative reviews have mentioned have not been our experience. Communication from administration is great. Teachers care about the kids and also communicate with parents. I get a response same-day when I have a question. My son has reported no negative experiences with peers, and has not seen anything bad happening. This is a great middle 九色视频 with positive-spirited teachers and leadership. There鈥檚 a lot of parent involvement and opportunities to volunteer. There are also plenty of teacher / staff appreciation events to support those educating our children.
